Augusto is an Information Technology Director with 18+ years of IT leadership experience. Augusto entered the non-for-profit sector in 2007 with Uplift Education where he continues to serve as the IT Director. A bird’s eye view of Augusto’s responsibilities include oversight of infrastructure, application support and security services. Augusto is dedicated to customer satisfaction with focused delivery of technical solutions. A few of Augusto’s accomplishments on his role as IT Director includes cloud computing adaption (MS 365/Azure and Google). As an ITIL certified professional, Augusto implemented various ITIL practices including Service Level Agreement that increased customer service satisfaction to 87% over the last 5 years. During Covid-19 pandemic, Augusto rolled out a number of new systems such as MS Endpoint Manager, Zoom, Classlink, Cisco Umbrella and bandwidth increases, to manage and secure devices remotely. With the deployment of over 18,000 devices and configuration of various systems to support a secure online learning of more than 24,000 users, this has made education and work more accessible to the teachers, students and staff.
